Ingredients
- 6 oz cream cheese, softened
- 3 oz crab meat
- 1/2 tsp grated lemon peel
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp chives
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Oil (for deep frying)
Directions
-
Chop crab meat in a food processor until minced.
-
Thoroughly mix all ingredients (except wrappers and oil) together in small bowl.
-
Place about 1 tsp of mixture in the center of each wonton wrapper.
-
Use a small brush or your finger to wet the edges of the wrapper with water or egg wash. Fold the wontons in triangles and press the edges tightly to seal.
-
Heat oil to 350 degrees, then deep fry wontons in small batches about 3-4 minutes or until light golden brown and crispy. You may need to turn them once.
-
Drain the wontons on paper towels and serve warm.
