Layered Summer Salad

Ingredients

  • 4 c torn spinach
  • 1 1/2 c shredded cheddar
  • 2 c sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 small red onion sliced seperated into rings
  • 2 tomatoes chopped
  • 1 pkg (10oz) frozen green peas cooked drained and cooled
  • 1/2 c kraft may
  • 1/2 c sour cream
  • 1/4 c chopped fresh basil
  • 4 slices crisply cooked bacon drained and crumbled

Directions

  1. Layer spinach, 1 c cheese the mushrooms onion tomatoes and peas in 3 qt serving bowl.

  2. Mix mayo sour cream and basil spread over salad completely covering top of salad. Cover, refrigerate at least 5 hours

  3. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 c cheese and the bacon just before serving.

  4. *you can also used romaine torn
