Perfect Hard Boiled Egg

Ingredients

  • dozen eggs

Directions

  1. Place eggs in single layer in saucepan. Cover at least one inch of cold water over top of eggs. Cover pot with lid and bring to a boil over med. heat. As soon as water boils remove from heat and let stand.

  2. Hard cooked eggs- let stand for 15-17 minutes. Soft cooked eggs- let stand 4 minutes

  3. When eggs are cooked to desired level drain off the water. Cover eggs with cold water immediately and add ice cubes to water.

  4. Let eggs cool completely if you want hard boiled eggs and for soft boiled leave in until cool enough to handle.
