Mini Elephant Ears

Ingredients

  • Frozen white dinner roll dough (10 rolls)
  • Cooking oil for deep-fat frying
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine, melted

Directions

  1. Thaw dough at room temperature for about 2 hours!.

  2. Heat oil in an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer to 375!.

  3. Combine sugar and cinnamon; set aside!.

  4. Stretch each piece of dough into a flat ear shape!.

  5. Fry, a few at a time, for 1 1/2 minutes per side or until browned!.

  6. Drain on paper towels!. Brush with butter and spinkle with cinnamon-sugar!.
