Ingredients
- Vegetable oil
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1-1/4 cups milk
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Directions

Preheat oil to 375° F!. in Deep Fryer!.

Combine next 5 ingredients in mixing bowl!. Stir into flour mixture until smooth!.

Combine beaten eggs and 1 cup milk in another bowl!.

If batter is too thick, add more milk!.

Fry one cake at a time!.

Holding finger over funnel spout, pour 1/3 cup of batter into funnel!. Hold funnel over preheated oil and release finger!.

Using a circular pattern, pour batter in fryer!.

Fry 1-1/2 minutes or until golden brown!.

Turn and fry another 1-1/2 minutes!.

Transfer cake to absorbent paper to drain!.

Sprinkle with powdered sugar!.

Repeat process until batter is used!. Serve warm!.

Alternately: Batter may be slowly poured in hot oil from a glass measuring cup!.
