Neverfail Fudge Frosting

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) salted butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

  1. In medium saucepan, melt butter, sugar and cream.

  2. Bring to a boil and cook for 2 minutes.

  3. Add chocolate chips and stir, remove from heat.

  4. Stir in vanilla.

  5. Pour on cake and spread quickly with spatula.

  6. Let cool at least an hour before cutting.
