Pepper Poppers

Cook time: 40 minutes

Ingredients

  • 1- 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Monterrey jack cheese
  • 6 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 tsp. chili powder
  • 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 lb. jalapenos, halved length wise and seeded
  • 1/2 c. dry bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 300.

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine cheeses, bacon, and seasonings, mix well.

  3. Spoon about 2 Tbls. into each pepper half.

  4. Roll in bread crumbs.

  5. place in greased baking pan.

  6. Bake 40 minutes.
