*Beef Stir Fry with Oyster Sauce

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp sake
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp light brown sugar
- 300 grams lean beef frying steak
- 1 tbsp corn oil
- 1 small onion, peeled and sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 garlic clove, peeled and crushed
- 1 carrot, peeled and cut into strips
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup baby sweet corn
- 1 cup sugar-snap peas or zucchini, cut into strips
- 1 red pepper, cut into strips
- Rice
Directions

Combine marinade ingredients in a bowl; add beef and leave for 30 minutes.

Remove beef and set aside, reserving marinade.

Meanwhile, heat the corn oil in a wok.

Add half the onion and stir-fry until softened.

Add beef and stir-fry until cooked, then remove and set aside.

Heat the sesame oil in the wok and stir-fry the remaining onion and the garlic for 2-3 minutes.

Add the carrot, broccoli and sweet corn and stir-fry 3-4 minutes.

Add the peas and red pepper; stir-fry for 3-4 minutes more.

Return the beef strips to the wok, pour in the marinade and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes more.

Serve with rice.
