Oatmeal Peanut Butter Breakfast Bars
(from susigs’s recipe box)
I have these every day for breakfast! The original recipe calls for lecithin granules and flour vital gluten. I substitute protein powder.

Prep time: 20 minutes
Cook time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup honey or corn syrup
- 3/4 cup egg (whites if you prefer), beaten
- 1 cup raisins
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/3 cup protein powder
- 4 cup rolled oats
- 1 cup rice bran (regular bran, oat bran or wheat germ would work
- 1 cup soy milk, juice, or other liquid
Directions
-
x all ingredients together and pour into greased baking dish (doesn’t matter much what size – just depends on what shape you want your bars in. I prefer 8×10. The smaller the dish the thicker the bars). Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. Cut into whatever size you want. I like to cut mine into about 14 bars. They freeze well.
