Ingredients
- 2 pounds stew meat, cubed
- 1 tablespoon cooking oil
- 1 cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon onion, minced
- 2 teaspoons garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon thyme
- 1 bay leaf
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2/3 cup sherry
- 1 1/2 cups sour cream
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/4 cup water
- 4 cups noodles, cooked
Directions
- Brown beef in hot oil. Drain fat.

Combine beef, mushrooms, onion, garlic, oregano, salt, pepper, thyme, beef broth, sherry and bay leaf in slow cooker. Cover; cook on High 4-5 hours.

Discard bay leaf. Mix together sour cream, flour and water. Stir one cup of the hot liquid into sour cream mixture. Cover; cook on High for 30 mins. Serve over noodles.
