Ingredients
- 4 oz. cream cheese, cubed
- 4 oz. Colby-Jack cheese, cubed
- 1/2 cup canned chickpeas, drained and rinsed
- 1/4 cup finely chopped jarred roasted red peppers
- 1/2 cup small pretzel twists
- Fresh chives, for decorating
Directions

Combine cheeses and chickpeas in a food processor and blend until smooth, about 1 minute, stopping to scrape down the sides as needed.

Spoon mixture into a shallow dish; add the red peppers and mix well.

Spread the mixture evenly in the dish.

Cover and chill for 30 min. or up to 24 hours.

Place pretzels in a zip-top bag and crush them into fine crumbs.

Pour crumbs out onto a piece of wax paper.

Scoop the cheese out of the dish and form it into a football shape with your hands. Roll it around in the pretzel crumbs to coat.

Transfer to a serving plate and use chives to make the laces.
