Broccoli Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 lbs chicken thighs, deboned, cleaned, no skin, no fat
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 clove garlic, grated
  • 4 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • Carrots
  • Broccoli
  • 2 tbsp cornstarch
  • 1/2 cup water

Directions

  1. Grate garlic over chicken and season with salt and pepper

  2. Brown onions in pan over medium heat

  3. Remove onions

  4. Add chicken to the pan over medium heat and brown chicken

  5. Add oyster sauce, sugar and onions – bring to a boil and simmer 10-15 minutes, covered

  6. In seperate pan bring water to boil, add carrots and cook 3 minutes then remove

  7. Add broccoli and cook 3 minutes then remove and set aside

  8. Return chicken and sauce to medium heat and add water from veggies to chicken – adjust to taste

  9. Add 2 tbsp cornstarch and 1/2 cup water to thicken

  10. Add veggies, bring to a boil and serve
