Texas Chocolate Sheet Cake

Wonderful mild chocolate brownie like dessert.

Serves 24 peopleIngredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup margarine
- 1/4 cup cocoa
- 1 cup water
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions

Combine first four ingredients in a mixing bowl. Boil together the margarine, cocoa and water. Pour over dry ingredients. Add the buttermilk, eggs and vanilla. Pour into a greased 18 × 13 × 1″ baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 22-25 minutes. Frost while sill warm with this frosting.

1 cup nuts chopped

combine and set aside

Boil together:

1/2 cup margarine

1/4 cup cocoa

1/3 cup buttermilk

Combine with powdered sugar mixture and beat until smooth. Spread on warm cake.
