red velvet cheesecake

Ingredients

  • 1 box b.c. devil's food cake mix
  • 1/2 C butter softened
  • 3 pkg cream cheese
  • 1 C sscc melted and cooled sltly
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 3/4 C sugar
  • 1 Tred fc
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 C whipped topping

Directions

  1. 300 9 in springform pan wrapped in foil

  2. reserve 1/4 C cake mix.

  3. Put remaining mix in a bowl, add butter, mix and press in pan and up 1 1/2 inch on sides.

  4. mix 1/4 C cake mix, cheese, chocolate, sour cream, sugar..beat in eggs 1 at at time. pour over crust.

  5. Bake 65-75 minutes until side is set, center is jiggly. turn off oven open door 4 inches, leave in for 30 minutes.
