Italian Chicken noodle soup

Use cooked chicken breast

Ingredients

  • 1 tb oil
  • 2 boneless chicken breasts (about 1/2 lb) cut up
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 cans chicken broth (14 oz cans)
  • 2 cups water
  • 3 carrots sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 cups uncooked medium egg noodles
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp garlic/pepper blend
  • 1/4 cup shredded parmesan cheese

Directions

  1. In 4 quart dutch oven heat oil and add chciken. Cook 4-6 minutes till not pink

  2. Stir in onion and cook 3 minutes till tender

  3. Add carrots and cook

  4. Stir in broth and water

  5. heat to boiling

  6. cook 5 minutes

  7. Stir in broccoli, noodles and garlic-peper blend

  8. Head to boiling then reduce heat

  9. Simmer 10 minutes, till veggy and noodles are tender

  10. Top each serving with cheese
