Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
- 2 egg whites
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 cups frozen strawberries
- 1 cup whipping cream
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Directions

Thaw strawberries and set aside.

Mix flour, brown sugar, pecans and butter and sprinkle on cookie sheet.

Bake 15 minutes at 325’.

Put 2/3 of crumb mixture in the bottom of 9×13 pan.

Combine egg whites, white sugar, strawberries and lemon juice and beat well (5-7 minutes) until peaks form.

Whip cream and fold into strawberry mixture.

Spoon over crumbs.

Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.

Freeze one day before serving.
