Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 Tablespoons cocoa
- 1/3 cup boiling water
Directions

ne 10×15 inch pan with wax paper, grease. Preheat over to 375.

Beat eggs about 5 minutes. Gradually beat in sugar. Add vanilla.

Turn mixer speed to low and add dry ingredients, beating just until batter is smooth.

Quickly add boiling water and stir only until blended. (Do not over mix).

Loosen cake from edges of pan, invert on towel that has been sprinkled with powdered

sugar. Then sprinkle top of cake with powdered sugar (this keeps the cake from sticking

to the towel). While hot, roll cake and towel from narrow end. Cool on wire rack.

Unroll cake and fill with softened ice cream. Freeze, then frost.
