Crockpot Swiss Steak

Ingredients

  • 3 tbs. WW flour
  • 1 tsp. ground mustard
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef boneless round - cut into 6 pieces
  • 2 tbs canola oil
  • 1 large onion - sliced
  • 1 large bell pepper - sliced
  • 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes - undrained
  • 2 cloves garlic - finely chopped

Directions

  1. Mix flour, mustard, and salt. Coat beef with flour mixture. Heat oil in 10 inch skillet over med. heat. Cook beef in oil about 15 min. turning once, until brown. Place beef in crock pot. Top with onion and bell pepper. Mix tomatoes and garlic, pour over top of beef and vegetables. Cover and cook on low for 7-9 hours or until beef is tender.
