Hot cheesy brunch croissants

Ingredients

  • 2 fresh croissants, ideally long-straight ones
  • 75g 4-cheese sauce
  • 2 slices of good ham
  • 2 handfuls of grated extra mature Cheddar
  • chopped fresh chives, to serve

Directions

  1. Split each croissant open lengthways along the top. Fill each with cheese sauce, a slice of ham and top with the Cheddar. Season with freshly ground black pepper.

  2. Pop onto a baking sheet and bake at 180˚C/fan 160˚C/gas 4 for 10-12 minutes until piping hot.

  3. Sprinkle with chopped fresh chives to serve.
