Sant’s Sugar Cookie Mix

In the jar, mix the flour, baking powder and salt together. Layer the flour mixture, then the sugar in the jar. Be sure to add the sugar as the last layer so it can be separated for the recipe below.

Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup margarine, softened
- 3 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Pour the top sugar layer from the jar into a large bowl. Add the margarine and cream until smooth. Add vanilla and eggs and stir well. Stir in the rest of the mixture from the jar. Refrigerate dough for one hour or overnight. Roll the cold dough thinly on parchment paper or a floured surface. Cut with cookie cutters and bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 6 to 8 minutes or until lightly golden in color.
