Basil-Parmesan Pizza

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon sweet basil
  • 2 teaspoons Fleischmann's Bread Machine Yeast
  • 1 tablespoon cornmeal

Directions

  1. Add water, oil, salt, bread flour, cheese, basil, and yeast to bread machine pan in the order suggested by manufacturer. Select dough/manual cycle. When cycle is complete, remove dough from machine to a lightly floured surface. If necessary, knead in enough flour to make dough easy to handle.
  2. Grease pizza pan and sprinkle with cornmeal. Roll out dough and place on pan or pat dough in pan. Top with green pepper, red onion, tomato and mozzarella cheese. Bake at 425 for 15 to 25 minutes or until done. Pizza is done when edges of crust are golden and cheese is bubbly. Makes 1 or 2 pizzas.
