Potol Bhaja is a very famous fried dish in Bengal . The Bengalis have some fried/ bhaja item along with their rice and dal and potol bhaja is very common and also extremely easy to prepare.

Ingredients

  • 1. Potol /pointed gourd – 5
  • 2. Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
  • 3. Salt – to taste
  • 4. Oil – for frying

Directions

  1. Wash the gourds and then slit them in two halves longitudinally.

  2. Then rub the turmeric and salt all over it.

  3. Heat oil in a pan and then fry them till golden brown.
