Ingredients

  • 1. Chicken : 500 gm
  • 2. Onion : 2 pieces (paste)
  • 3. Garlic paste : 1 tbsp
  • 4. Ginger paste : 1 tbsp
  • 5. Tomato puree : 1/2 cup
  • 6. Roasted cumin seed : 1 tsp (powdered)
  • 7. Roasted cardamom : 1 tsp (powdered)
  • 8. Roasted cinnamon : 1 tsp (powdered)
  • 9. Roasted clove : 1 tsp (powdered)
  • 10. Coriander leaves : 1 bunch (chopped)
  • 11. Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
  • 12. Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
  • 13. Salt : to taste
  • 14. Oil : as required
  • 15. Curd : 1/2 cup
  • 16. Sugar : 1/2 tsp
  • 17. Nutmeg powder : 1 tsp
  • 18. Mace powder : 1 tsp

Directions

  1. Marinate chicken with curd for 1 hour.
  2. Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, onion. Stir till golden brown.
  3. Add sugar. Then add marinated chicken pieces. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder & salt. Stir well.
  4. When oil releases, add tomato puree. Stir well.
  5. Add ½ cup of water. Mix it well. Cook until chicken becomes tender.
  6. Add cumin powder, cinnamon powder, clove powder, cardamom powder, mace powder, nutmeg powder.
  7. Add coriander leaves & remove from heat & serve.
