Ingredients
- 1. Chicken : 500 gm
- 2. Onion : 2 pieces (paste)
- 3. Garlic paste : 1 tbsp
- 4. Ginger paste : 1 tbsp
- 5. Tomato puree : 1/2 cup
- 6. Roasted cumin seed : 1 tsp (powdered)
- 7. Roasted cardamom : 1 tsp (powdered)
- 8. Roasted cinnamon : 1 tsp (powdered)
- 9. Roasted clove : 1 tsp (powdered)
- 10. Coriander leaves : 1 bunch (chopped)
- 11. Red chilli powder : 1 tsp
- 12. Turmeric powder : 1 tsp
- 13. Salt : to taste
- 14. Oil : as required
- 15. Curd : 1/2 cup
- 16. Sugar : 1/2 tsp
- 17. Nutmeg powder : 1 tsp
- 18. Mace powder : 1 tsp
Directions
- Marinate chicken with curd for 1 hour.
- Heat oil in a pan. Add garlic, onion. Stir till golden brown.
- Add sugar. Then add marinated chicken pieces. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder & salt. Stir well.
- When oil releases, add tomato puree. Stir well.
- Add ½ cup of water. Mix it well. Cook until chicken becomes tender.
- Add cumin powder, cinnamon powder, clove powder, cardamom powder, mace powder, nutmeg powder.
- Add coriander leaves & remove from heat & serve.
