Sirloin Steak with Artichokes, Tomatoes, and Olives

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • 4 6 oz sirloin steaks about 3/4" thick
  • 2 t olive oil
  • 1/4 c water
  • 1 minced garlic clove
  • 1 t dried oregano
  • 4 plum tomatoes, diced
  • 1 9 oz pkg artichoke hearts, quartered
  • 1/2 c pitted kalamata olives, chopped
  • salt
  • pepper

Directions

  1. Season steak with salt and pepper.

  2. Fry in skillet 4-5 min per side.

  3. Transfer to plate.

  4. Add water, garlic, oregano to pan and cook til soft in pan. Add tomatoes, then artichokes and olives to warm over.

  5. Serve with steaks.
