Aunt Joyce’s Broccoli & Rice Casserole

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chopped onion
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 large can sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can cream chicken soup
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup
  • 2 pkgs. frozen chopped broccoli (or fresh)
  • 3/4 cup uncooked rice
  • 1 dash milk

Directions

  1. Saute the onion and celery in butter until tender.

  2. Cook broccoli, add all other ingredients. Combine with onion and celery and mix gently.

  3. Bake in 350* oven for 1 hour (cover while baking first 1/2 hour-uncover last 1/2 hour).
