Rice Krispie Treats (dairy free)

If you are not lactose intolerant substitute the vegan margarine with butter or margarine and eliminate the vanilla extract.

Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons vegan margarine
- 1 pkg (10 oz about 40) regular marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
Directions

In a large saucepan melt margarine over low heat.

Remove from heat.

Add vanilla extract.

Stir in Rice Krispies.

Using buttered spatula or wax paper evenly press mixture into 13×9×2 inch pan coated with cooking spray.

Cool.

Cut into 2 inch squares.

Best if served the same day.
