Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 1 lb of trimmed green beans
  • 1/4 Cup of butter
  • 1 Onion minced
  • 1 Stalk of celery
  • 1 1/2 Tsp of garlic minced
  • 1/4 Tsp of rosemary
  • 3/4 Tsp of salt
  • 1/4 Cu of parsley

Directions

  1. Bring salted water to a boil in a large pot then add beans and cook 10 – 15 minutes.

  2. Drain the beans and plunge them into an ice water bath.

  3. Melt butter in a sauce pan over medium heat.

  4. Add onion and sauté for 5 minutes.

  5. Add garlic and sauté for 2 minutes.

  6. Stir in the beans, rosemary, salt, and parsley and sauté for 4 minutes.

  7. Serve.
