Ingredients
- 2/3 c. water
- 4 Tbsp. meringue powder
- 12 c. sifted powdered sugar (approx. 3 lbs)
- 1-1/4 c. shortening
- 1/2 tsp. almond flavoring
- 1/2 tsp. clear vanilla flavoring
- 1/4 tsp. butter flavoring
Directions

Whip water and meringue powder until peaks form. Add 4 c. sugar (1 c. at a time), beating after each addition, on low speed.

Alternately add shortening and rest of sugar. Add flavorings; beat at low speed until smooth.

Makes 7 cups

1/2 recipe makes about 2-2/3 cups
