Slow Cooker Pulled Pork

Ingredients

  • Spice Rub:
  • 1 TBSP black pepper
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 TBSP chili powder
  • 2 TBSP ground cumin
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp oregano
  • 4 tbsp paprika
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp white pepper
  • 6-8 lb. pork roast
  • 1 /2 tsp liquid smoke
  • 2 cups BBQ Sauce

Directions

  1. Massage rub onto meat.

  2. Wrap in double layer of saran wrap

  3. refrigerate 3 hours – 3 days

  4. Freeze (if desired)

  5. Put in crock pot 8-10 hours with 1/4 cup water and liquid smoke.

  6. Pull pork and put back in crock pot withe BB Sauce.

  7. Cook 6o more minutes.
