corn tortillas

Prep time: 30 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
Serves 5 people

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white corn flour
  • 1 all purpose flour
  • 1 TBSP olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1 cup water

Directions

  1. blend dry ingredients.

  2. Add oil

  3. Add half water

  4. Blend / knead with hands adding more water as necessary to form a soft dough.

  5. Separate out into 5 equal balls cover and let rest for 15 min.

  6. Mash with tortilla press or roll with roller till appropriate thickness.

  7. Cook on dry griddle med heat for several minutes, or till it bubbles on each side.
