CrissCross Peanut Butter Cookies

Best peanut butter cookies i’ve had!

Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup CRUNCHY peanut butter (Jif)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions

  1. Sift flour and baking soda, set aside.

  2. On medium speed, combine softened butter and remaining ingredients, beat until smooth and fluffy.

  3. Add flour and use beater until firmer; then use wooden spoon the rest of the way.

  4. Refrigerate 1 hour.

  5. Use a small tablespoon to “drop” 1 1/4" balls, flatten with a floured fork in a crisscross pattern. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes.
