Ziti with Spinach & Cheese

Ingredients

  • 2 10-ounce pkgs frozen chopped spinach
  • 15-ounce container ricotta cheese
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 2/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 16-ounce pkg ziti pasta
  • 28 oz jar spaghetti sauce
  • 2 tsp dried oregano
  • 12-ounce pkg shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Cook spinach & ziti and dry well.

  2. Combine spinach, ricotta cheese, eggs, parmesan cheese and pepper; set aside.

  3. Combine pasta, spahetti sauce and oregano; place half the pasta mixture mixture in an ungreased 13×9 baking pan.

  4. Layer the spinach mixture and mozzarella cheese.

  5. Add remaining pasta mixture. Cover with aluminum foil and bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Uncover and bake another 5 minutes or until bubbly. Remove from oven and let stand for about 10 minutes before serving
