Ingredients
- 1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 4 cups Honeynut O shaped oat cereal
- 1/2 cup almond butter (crunchy peanut butter may be substituted)
- 1 cup chopped dried apples

Lightly spray an 8×8×2 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray; set aside.

In a large saucepan or dutch oven, combine the brown sugar and corn syrup. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture boils. Remove from heat and stir in almond butter and cinnamon. Add cereal and dried apples, stirring until evenly coated.

Press hot cereal mixture evenly into prepared pan with wooden spoon. Cool completely. Cut into 16 bars. Store in covered containers between layers of wax paper.
