Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lb beef tenderloin or boneless top loin steak
- 2 T butter
- 1 1/2 c beef broth
- 2 T salt
- 1 sm clove of garlic, finely chopped
- 8 oz mushrooms
- 1 med onion, chopped
- 3 T all purpose flour
- 1 c sour cream
- 2 T ketchup
Directions

Cut meat into strips, cook in butter until brown. Reserve 1/3 c of broth. Stir in remaining broth, ketchup, salt and garlic into skillet. Heat until boiling (about 10 minutes)

Stir in mushrooms and onions. Cover and simmer until onion in tender. Shake reserve broth and flour tightly covered container, gradually stir in beef mixture. Heat to boiling, stirring constantly. Reduce heat and stir in sour cream. Serve on noodles or rice if desired
