- 5 cups Brussels sprouts
- 6 raw bacon strips
- Salt and pepper
- Maple syrup

Toss together 1 ¼ lbs. (5 cups) fresh Brussels sprouts, trimmed and halved lengthwise; 6 raw bacon strips, cut into ½ inch pieces; ½ tsp salt; and ¼ tsp pepper in a single layer in a large roasting pan. Bake at 425 for 30 minutes or until sprouts are tender and bacon is crisp, stirring occasionally. Stir in 1 ½ tbsp maple syrup.
