Ingredients
- 10-12 oz package white mushrooms, trimmed
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley
- 2 large garlic cloves, thinly sliced
- salt and ground pepper
Directions

Place the mushrooms in a colander and rinse them quickly under cold running water. Drain the mushrooms and pat them dry. Cut the mushrooms in half, or into quarters if large.

In a large skillet, heat the oil over medium heat. Add the mushrooms and cook, stirring often, until browned, 8-10 minutes. Sprinkle with the parsley, garlic, and salt and pepper to taste. Cook 2 minutes or more, or until the garlic is golden. Serve hot.
