Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs; slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 t. salt
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 t. vanilla
  • 1 t. nutmeg

Directions

  1. Line 9" pie pan with pastry or bought pie crust.

  2. Beat eggs slightly and stir in sugar and salt.

  3. Add milk and vanilla and blend.

  4. Pour into pie shell.

  5. Sprinkle with nutmeg.

  6. Bake in oven 425F for 25 min – 35 min or until knife clean.
