Ingredients
- 1 C. butter, soft
- 1 c. packed br. sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg yolk
- 2 c. flour
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 2/3 c. milk choc chips
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
Directions

Heat oven to 350

In lrg bowl, mix butter, br sugar, vanilla and egg yolk and cream well.

Stir in flour and salt.

Press into lightly greased rectangle pan (13×9×2)

Bake 25 mins or less until very light brown (crust will be soft).

Immediately sprinkle w/ chips on hot crust.

Let stand 5 min or until chocolate is soft; spread evenly.

Sprinkle w/ chopped nuts.

Cut bars while still warm

Makes 1 9×13 pan.
