Sweet Fried Rice

Serves 3 people

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Vidalia onion
  • 3 carrots
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 cups sweet brown rice
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons Shoyu
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/3 head of cabbage
  • 2 cloves of garlic

Directions

  1. Cook rice according to directions.

  2. Use food processors to slice all veggies (or cut finely).

  3. Once rice is almost done, begin heating up 1 tablespoon oil and garlic in a larger pan.

  4. Add veggies to pan and saute 3-5 minutes. Remove from pan.

  5. Add remaining oil to pan and cooked rice.

  6. Cook rice for 3-5 minutes then add veggies, shoyu, sea salt, and garlic powder. Cook for 3 more minutes.
