Ingredients
- 1 pkg yellow cake mix
- 1 1/4 c. quick cook or old fashioned oats
- 1/2 c butter, chilled
- 1 egg
- 4 apples
- 3/4 c. packed br. sugar
- 1/2 c. pecans, chopped
- 1/2 c. caramel ice cream topping
Directions

Oven to 375

Spray baking dish.

Combine cake mix and oats in bowl.

Cut butter into cake mix until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.

Reserve 1 cup crumb mix for topping.

Add egg to remaning crumb mix in bowl, mix until well blended. Press onto bottom of baking dish.

Combine peeled apples, brown sugar and pecans, toss lightly.

Layer apple mixture over crust and sprinkle with reserved crumbs.

Bake 30-35 mins or until apples are tender and topping is golden.

Drizzle w/ caramel sauce.
