Southern Style Pulled BBQ Pork Sandwiches

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. beef stew meat
  • 2 c. water
  • 4 c. cabbage
  • 1/2 c. BBQ sauce
  • 1/2 c. ketchup
  • 1/3 c. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 T. horseradish
  • 1 T. mustard

Directions

  1. a covered Dutch oven, simmer beef in water for 1.5 hours until tender.

  2. Drain cooking liquid, reserving 3/4 cup.

  3. cool beef, shred and return to Dutch oven.

  4. Add celery, BBQ, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, horseradish, mustard and the reserved cooking liquid.

  5. Cover and simmer 1 hour

  6. Serve on buns
