Ingredients
- 3 lb thin to medium asparagus, trimmed
- 1 c. mayo
- 4 T. soy sauce
- 1.5 t. sugar
- 2 t. lemon juice
- 2 t. wasabi paste (or powder)
Directions

Blanche asparagus in 2 batches in large saucepan of boiling salted water; 1 min.

Transfer to cold water to stop cooking.

Drain well and pat try.

Whisk together mayo, soy sauce, sugar, lemon juice, and wasabi until sugar is dissolved.
