Easy Double Chocolate Chip Brownies

Serves 24 people

Ingredients

  • 2 c. semi-sweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 1/2 c. (1 stick) butter or margarine
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
  • 1 c. granulated sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional)

Directions

  1. Melt 1 c. morsels and butter in large, heavy-duty saucepan over low heat; stir until smooth. Then remove from heat.

  2. Stir in eggs, flour, sugar, baking soda, and vanilla, morsels, and nuts.

  3. Spread into 9×13″ baking pan.

  4. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 18-22 mins. or until wooden pick in center comes out slightly sticky. Cool in pan or wire rack.
