Ingredients
- 3/4 c. EVOO
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1/2 t. baking soda
- 1 T cinnamon
- Pinch salt
- 1/2 c. dry red wine
- 3 c. flour
- 1 c. toasted sesame seeds
- Plastic mister bottle filled with clean cool water
Directions

Heat oven to 350

In large stainless bowl, whisk together EVOO and sugar until dissolved and creamy.

Add baking powder, soda, cinnamon, salt and red wine and whisk together until combined.

With a sturdy spoon, stir in flour and beat until dough comes together, then knead by hand a moment to a smooth consistency.

Scoop 1 inch balls and roll into spheres in hands, then press each cookie b/w thumb and forefinger to make a thick button or puck shape.

Dip in toasted sesame seeds and place on baking sheet lined with baking parchment. (Don’t need to leave too much space b/w each cookie).

If you have difficulty getting seeds to stick, spray dough with water .

Bake for 20 mins.
