Snakeup’s Smokey Queso

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. brick Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 15.5 oz. jar Medium Pace Chunky Salsa
  • 4 oz. can diced green chiles
  • 6 oz. Miracle Whip
  • 1 fresh jalapeno, diced
  • 1 fresh small yellow pepper, diced
  • 1 chipotle pepper, diced, with a little extra adobo sauce (From 7 oz. can Goya Chipotle Peppers in Adobo Sauce)

Directions

  1. Place Velveeta cubes along bottom and sides of a medium pot.

  2. Add rest of ingredients to the middle of the pot.

  3. Cover; heat on low. Stir every 5 minutes.

  4. Queso is done when it barely coats the back of a mixing spoon.

  5. Add more salsa if queso is too thick.
