Ingredients
- 1, 8 oz. bag Hershey's Kisses
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
- 1/3 c. packed light brown sugar
- 1/3 c. granulated sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tblsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- 1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- granulated sugar
Directions

Heat oven to 375 degrees.

Remove wrappers from Hershey Kisses.

Beat shortening and peanut butter in large bowl until well blended. Add granulated sugar and brown sugar; beat until light and fluffy.

Add egg, milk, and vanilla; beat well.

Stir together flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually beat into peanut butter mixture.

Shape dough into 1-in. balls; roll in granulated sugar and place on ungreased cookie sheet.

Bake 8-10 mins. or until lightly browned.

Immediately press a Hershey’s Kiss into center of each cookie; cookie will crack around edges.

Remove from cookie sheet to wire rack; cook completely.

Makes approx. 4 dozen cookies.
