Sour Cream Banana Cake

Nice and moist

Cook time: 35 minutes
Serves 16 people

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 C flour
  • 1 t cinnamon
  • 1 t baking soda
  • 1/2 t salt
  • 1 C sugar
  • 1/2 C oil
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1 C mashed banana
  • 1/2 C sour cream
  • 1 t vanilla
  • Optional: 1/2 C chopped nuts,

Directions

  1. Mix together wet ingredients.

  2. Sift dry ingredients.

  3. Combine both mixtures, adding nuts if using.

  4. Bake in large (9"x 13") paper lined cake pan at 180oC approx 35 minutes, until firm to touch.

  5. Cool and ice, if desired.
