Ingredients
- 2/3 Cup sugar
- 2/3 cup evaporated milk
- 2 egg yolks
- 1/3 cup shortening
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup flaked coconut
- 1 cup chopped pecans
- 1/2 cup chilled heavy cream
Directions

In saucepan, coine sugar,e vaporated milk, egg yolks and shortening.

Cook and stir over medium heat, until mixture comes to a oil. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla, coconut and pecans.

Cool. SPread over cake, in small bowl beat cream until stiff, spoon over filing, place cake layer on top.
