Ingredients
- 1 1/2 lbs. stew meat, cubed
- 1/4 c. flour
- 2 T vegetable oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 4 carrots, cut into 1-inch slices
- 3 potatoes peeled and cut into cubes
- beef broth
- 3/4 t thyme
Directions

coat meat w/ flour, brown in oil, put meat in crock-pot

sauté onions, put in cheesecloth bag in crock-pot

add tomatoes and carrots to bag, close bag

add potatoes to crock-pot

add beef broth & thyme, add water to near top (within an inch or two

cook on low or high in crock-pot until meat and vegetables are tender
