Puliyogare

Ingredients
- vegetable oil - 2 tsp
- mustard seeds - 2tsp
- peanuts
- turmeric and hingu - 1/4 tsp each
- cooked rice - 2 cups
- salt - 1tsp
- brown sugar - 1/2 tsp
- MTR Puliyogare powder (not paste) - 4 TBSP
- tamarind paste - 1 tsp (optional, for more tang)

cracke the mustard seeds in the oil

add the peanuts, hingu, turmeric – roast until golden brown

add cooked rice, salt, brown sugar, and MTR powder – mix well

add the tamarind paste, if more tang desired
